CardIQ is a free credit card recommendation tool. It analyzes your bank transaction history — with your permission — to estimate which credit card would earn you the most in annual rewards based on your real spending patterns.
CardIQ compares a selection of credit cards across categories including travel, dining, groceries, gas, and general purchases, and presents a ranked recommendation with estimated annual value for each card.
Reward rate estimates are based on publicly available card information and standard assumptions about point valuations. Actual rewards earned depend on your specific card usage, issuer terms, redemption choices, and other factors outside our control.
We strongly recommend reviewing the full terms and conditions of any credit card before applying. Credit card approval is subject to the issuer's criteria, including creditworthiness. CardIQ does not guarantee approval for any card.
CardIQ participates in affiliate marketing programs. We may earn a commission when you click a card link and subsequently apply for or are approved for a credit card. This compensation does not influence our recommendations — card rankings are determined solely by the estimated annual value calculation based on your spending data.
The cards we feature are limited to those in our catalog. Other cards not in our catalog may be equally or more suitable for your spending. We make no claim that our catalog is exhaustive.
You agree to use CardIQ only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
CardIQ uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to facilitate read-only access to your bank transaction data. By connecting your bank account, you are also agreeing to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
CardIQ does not receive, store, or have access to your bank login credentials. Access granted through Plaid is read-only — no transfers or account modifications are possible through this integration.
Your transaction analysis results are stored only in your browser's session memory and are not transmitted to or stored on CardIQ's servers.
All content on CardIQ, including the recommendation engine, design, copy, and code, is the property of CardIQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our explicit written permission.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARDIQ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that card reward data will be accurate, complete, or current at all times. Card terms, annual fees, and reward rates are subject to change by issuers at any time.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CARDIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed $100 USD.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites including credit card issuer application pages. These links are provided for convenience only. CardIQ has no control over third-party sites and assumes no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
